Adult Group Classes & Programs  (September 14, 2015 - June 25, 2016)

Adult Judo 1
A Japanese form of Martial Art that focuses on grappling and throwing techniques.
Instructor: Bob Sing and Pat Holman

Non-Members: $494.00 HST 
Adult Kung-Fu
A Chinese Martial Art using strikes and kicks focusing on the development of balance, agility, flexibility, discipline and self confidence.
Instructor: Jorge De Guzman
Session Starts: Sept. 14, 2015 - Jun. 22, 2016
Monday: 8:15 - 9:45pm
Members: No Charge
Non-Members: $380.00 HST
Aquafit
Water aerobics to suit all individual fitnes slevels with routines suitable for all levels ofability and intensity.
Drop in program. No registration required.
Body Sculpt: Weight Training for Women
Sculpt long, lean muscles while learning how to perform basic free weight exercises. By the end of the program, you will be able to complete a safe, effective full body workout that will tone and strengthen your muscles.
Session Starts: Oct. 20 - Nov. 17, 2015 - 6:30pm
Members: $39 HST
Non-members: $99 HST
Boot Camp
A cardio interval workout utilizing bands, weights, squats,lunges, plyometrics and sport style drills. A full body workout.
Cardio Fit
A multi-level workout joining high intensity and low impact movement, ending with resistance and flexibility exercises. Suitable for all levels.
Creating Balance
A 12 week program that allows you to work with a trainer to develop your personalized weight management program and increase your success! Please see a qualified trainer or enquire at Membership Services to book a consultation.
Members: $400.00 HST
Cycling
This exciting indoor class is a low impact workout that strengthens the muscles in the legs while burning calories & building stamina.
Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - classes begin October 14, 2015
Fitness Instructor Training
If you enjoy fitness classes or training in the Wellness Centre and would like to motivate others to achieve a healthier lifestyle, become a nationally certified YMCA Fitness Leader. Contact Wellness Supervisor Cindy Robinson or Group Fitness Supervisor Linda Brandon for more information.

Group Power®
Group Power® is Your Hour of Power! Blast all your muscles with this high-rep weight training workout. Using an adjustable barbell, weight plates, and body weight GroupPower® combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercises. Dynamic music and a motivating group atmosphere will get your heart rate up, make you sweat, and push you to a personal best! PowerUp!
HIIT Training
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) alternates periods of short, intense exercise with recovery periods. These dynamic workouts have been proven to enhance athletic performance and increase fat burning. Experience dramatic improvements to your fitness level in just 30 minutes — perfect for those who are crunched for time!
Packages start as low as $150.00 for 5 sessions.
Mommy & Me
Exercise class for new moms and baby too for some added resistance and fun! Babies who are Infant to walking welcome. Front baby carriers are required in the class.

Muscle Works
This non-cardiovascular class uses a variety of equipment to develop total muscular strength and endurance. Emphasis on proper execution of movements.
Personal Training
Combining each aspect of a healthy lifestyle, a typical personal training session will focus on cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and injury prevention. Pairing personal training with our healthy nutritional advice is a great way to educate and motivate you to reaching your health related goals faster. Sessions are an hour long, and tailored to your needs and abilities. This is truly something that anyone can benefit from, regardless of their fitness level. Certified personal trainers provide motivation, education and results.
Prices range from $45.20 - $62.15 per hour depending on the number of sessions purchased.
Pilates
A way to improve your posture, align your body, gain strength and tone your muscles, utilizing the principles of core control, breathing and muscular integration.

Pickle Ball
Pickle Ball is a racquet sport which combines elements ofBadminton, Tennis and Table Tennis.
Tuesday and Thursday: 1:00 - 2:30pm

Fall Session: October 13 - December 17, 2015
Members: No Charge / Non-Members: $45.00 HST for 10 weeks.

Winter Session: January 5 - March 10, 2016
Members: No Charge / Non-Members: $45.00 HST for 10 weeks.

Spring Session: March 22 - June 9, 2016
Members: No Charge / Non-Members: $67.50 HST for 12 weeks.
Senior Cycle
Geared for the Senior group, this indoor cycling class is a low impact workout that strengthens legs while burning calories and building stamina.

Step
Powerful moves, hot choreography, followed by core andflexibility excercises.
TRX - Suspension Training (Adult)
TRX is a full body workout using just your own body weight.
Tuesday 7:00 - 7:30 pm
Yoga/Youth Yoga
Energize, rejuvenate and strengthen yourself through yoga. Relieve stress, create balance in your mind and body through exercises in breath control, stability, flexibility and alignment. Bring a mat.
Youth Yoga ends April 27, 2016.
Y Stretch
Promotes muscle balance, flexability, reduces tension,increases range of motion and helps prevent injury.
Zumba
A Latin inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latinand International music and dance movements, whichcreates a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness experience.
